London International Shipping Week 2025 (LISW25) made waves from September 15–19 2025, and our Senior Management were geared-up to be a part of this exceptionally dynamic global shipping event.

John Ren Di, Global Vice President, Toby Brooks, Global Sales Director & Alvin Lee, Senior Consultant – Fuel & Carbon Compliance Management, convened in London to attend and join the discussions at the various forums and seminars organised as part of LISW25. They experienced fruitful interactions with other maritime peers and stakeholders to foster strong collaborations and connects.

A key highlight of the week was being hosted by DNV and International Maritime Organization (IMO) to attend their expertly curated events. The team’s unanimous consensus  on the events were, “High-impact discussions that reflect the maritime industry’s most pressing challenges and transformative opportunities – especially related to the industry’s crucial decarbonisation journey.”

On 17 September 2025 in Mumbai, Dr. Jagannath Panda, Global Technical Manager and MOHAMED JAFIR, Sales Executive, lead an enlightening Seminar in partnership with our peers at Aderco.

Together the team took our guests from varied Maritime fields through data driven insights on current operational challenges faced with marine fuel & Biofuels and the available solutions. Selective in-house case studies were examined to showcase the range of problem areas in the market alongside Maritec-Naias’s advanced investigative testing solutions, expertly executed to detect the root causes.

We were excited to be at Donso Shipping Week 2025!
Toby Brooks, Global Sales Director, represented Maritec-Naias at Donsö Shipping Meet, taking place on the charming island of Donso in Sweden. Toby connected with shipowners, operators, designers, and yards who are navigating the future of fuel quality, testing, and compliance.

Toby’s meet mission was to share in-depth insights on our expertise in marine fuel testing, biofuel transition support, and energy compliance solutions and learn more about the various stakeholder’s priorities and operational challenges.

Attending and presenting at the Indonesia Maritime Week 2025 in Jakarta was a rewarding experience!

We had an impressive turnout for our Seminar on ‘Inventory of Hazardous Material (IHM): Lifecycle Management of Ships’ & ‘IHM Certification’, which was organized in collaboration with the China Classification Society (CCS).

Our expert-led Seminar was astutely developed to convey vital insights regarding the key IHM regulatory requirements of the ratified Hong Kong Convention (HKC), which is set to come into effect in June 2025. As the Maritime industry increasingly prioritizes sustainable practices and regulatory compliance, comprehending the complexities of the IHM requirements remain essential.

During one day of the Maritime week, we also participated in the insightful Ship Recycling Committee meeting, which proved to be a highly effective forum for exchange of ideas and industry knowledge on the critical role of IHM compliance in meeting Responsible Ship Recycling (RSR) targets.
