Maritec-Naias’ Recycling Supervision team members have broad experience and awareness of recycling processes practised by ship recycling facilities worldwide.
At the initial stages of recycling preparation our team can therefore help an Owner short list, or select a recycling facility, based on authorised and approved working practices matched to owner-specific and statutory requirements, where applicable.
Maritec-Naias has the capabilities to perform in-depth audits of recycling facilities, using comprehensive and constantly updated checklists, to ensure the recycling process is performed according to the approved Ship Recycling Plan and/or owner’s specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards.
Our on-site supervision is driven by recycling supervisory teams who are well trained and highly experienced. On-site supervisors attend ships being recycled on a daily basis and liaise closely with the facility’s staff to ensure efficient, safe and environmentally sound recycling operations.
Through detailed and illustrated weekly reports, owners are updated regularly on the recycling progress whereby all recycling practices are monitored strictly to safeguard and maintain reputational integrity.
